Radio
On August 1st, 2011, Jaweh Ministries International started with a new online radio station. A few years ago, Jaweh Ministries International decided to start with online Bible studies, to encourage and equip people. At first this started with a small group of people, while we were using Skype to play the studies to them. Since not everyone had or wanted Skype, we decided to start an audio stream on our own computer at home. However, our ADSL line could only handle a minimum number of connections, so we hired a audio server in an official server room. From that moment on we started to broadcast Bible studies on every Sunday afternoon and in the evening. We did this for more then a year, with a loyal group of listeners.
In the first months of 2011 we did no longer broadcast on every Sunday. After a while we decided to start over again and tried to continue the studies on Paltalk, again broadcasting on every Sunday evening. Although Paltalk is a nice system to work with, the quality was not always as good as we wanted it to be. We also noticed that it is not easy for everyone to join the Bible study at the same time, mainly because of the many different time zones. Therefore we decided to change our way of working, to make all the Bible studies available to everyone and at every time.
Now we finally have turned this idea into reality by starting a new online radio station, which we once again called Fire FM. This radio station is broadcasting Bible studies around the clock, 24 hours a day. Now it is possible to listen to a encouraging Bible study at every moment of the day. There is no need to register and the audio stream is free! Be sure to check out the website of this new radio station, Fire FM. The website and all broadcasts are in English.
Chat sessions
In the past we used to join in our chat room as well, while listening to the Bible studies on Sunday evening. Since we’re broadcasting 24 hours a day now, that is no longer possible. Still we want to take the time to fellowship and talk about the word of God. Therefore we will continue the chat sessions on Sunday evening. Every Sunday we gather in our chat room at 08:00 PM (Central European Time), which is equal to 01:00 PM (US Central Time). Mostly we’re spending two or three hours chatting. Feel free to join us at the Sunday evenings! Outside these chat sessions you’re also welcome to join the chat to see if someone’s there. Our chat room can be found at the Fire FM website.
