Jaweh Ministries International once started with just the idea to start a website with a collection of Bible studies of several different anointed men and women of God, such as Derek Prince, Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, David Wilkerson and others. I didn’t had any intention to do more then that. So in the year 2002 I was at work and looking at available domain names. Just for fun. So I tried several names and saw that most of the domain names were already taken. But then I tried the Dutch of Yahweh, which is Jaweh. Suddenly I saw that all these domains were still available for registration. I knew that if I wanted to have those domains, I would have to act fast. A short while after that I registered Jaweh.com, Jaweh.net, Jaweh.org, Jaweh.nl and Jaweh.be. Until this present day, all these domains are still property of Jaweh Ministries International.
Eventually it was 2003 when I first published a website on the Jaweh.com domain and called it Jaweh Online Ministries. We started with just a very simple website. One of my best friends, who is now with the Lord, created a logo for it. From that moment on I started to collect interesting Bible studies and started to publish those on that website. The website was just something I did in my own time, as a sort of hobby. But as time passed by, lots of visitors started to come to the website and some of them started to sent prayer requests. Although I wanted to work for the Lord, I never expected something to come out of this. But in 2006 people started to ask for my bank details, because they wanted to sent a donation to help me to pay for the domains and for the hosting. Although I was very thankful for that, all donations arrived at my personal bank account. I had to do something to avoid the appearance of conflicts of interest. So I decided to start the Jaweh Online Ministries foundation.
In July 2006, God directed me to a notary office, where the foundation was born. From that moment on Jaweh Online Ministries became an official foundation, registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. The foundation got it’s own bank account, so from that moment on there was no longer an appearance of conflicts of interest. The website continued, together with a small web shop, and we also started to minister to some people. Every now and then, prayer requests came in by phone or email, but nothing more then that. In 2007 I got to know Willem Woortman. A friendship started. In 2008 he started to come over to our house several times, to stay with us for a few days. During that time he started to share a lot of testimonies and taught us a lot of new things. Beside that God also showed His power through everything. A whole new world opened up for me, with new expectations.
At the end of 2008 we decided to start organizing Holy Ghost Fire Nights. Because the activities were no longer only online, the name of the foundation was officially changed to Jaweh Ministries International. At the beginning of 2009 Willem Woortman became the chairman of our board and a little while later we started with the Holy Ghost Fire Nights in Almkerk (Noord Brabant, Netherlands) and Gieten (Drenthe, Netherlands). In these villages we organized several Holy Ghost Fire Nights on a monthly basis, for more then a year. It was during one of those nights that I asked the Lord to be consecrated and anointed for the tasks I was doing. After the Lord gave permission for that, Willem anointed and consecrated me for the tasks within Jaweh Ministries International. At the end of 2009 Willem told us that God told him that He wanted to use him elsewhere and that he had to leave Jaweh Ministries International. From that moment on he left the board and started with the new tasks that God gave him, but our friendship continued.
From January 2010 I became the new chairman of Jaweh Ministries International. A short time after this happened, God told me that He wanted me to organize a conference in The Netherlands. At that same moment I learned about the return of Terry MacAlmon to the ministry. After I prayed for it, I invited Terry to come over to The Netherlands to lead worship during the conference I had to organize. He agreed and so I started to organize this conference, which would become The Heart of Worship Conference. My friends of Your ID in Christ Ministries also wanted to help me organizing it, so it became a conference that was organized by all of us together. From that moment on the Holy Spirit started to share His teachings with me, which I shared on the website and for a small part during the conference. Somewhere in the months before the conference, the Lord pointed my attention to an old video of Derek Prince. In that video Derek told that the Lord woke him up and asked him if he wanted to ask God to give him His heart for America. When I spent time in worship, after I saw that video, God suddenly asked me if I wanted to do the same for The Netherlands and if I wanted to ask Him for His heart for my country. I agreed and I asked Him to give me His heart for The Netherlands. Suddenly I didn’t only receive His broken heart, but I also started to see the mess that exists in the Churches of today. It was then that I realized what He wanted to use me for. While He shared His heart with me, He said this: “Only a few people are actually doing what I told them to do, the others are to busy with their own works to reach out to a world in need.” That message became a part of the messages I shared during The Heart of Worship Conference. Afterwards I knew exactly what He tried to tell me, when I started to receive messages as “I came to receive healing, not to hear that my neighbour is going to hell”. I were only ten emails I received, but they all had the same sort of message in it. It was shocking to see how selfish people can be.
At the beginning of 2011, God told me to look at the studies on our website. I saw a collection of many Bible studies which I collected from the start until that moment. My own studies of the past years were in between. But then I started to see a lot of studies of me that I wrote a few years ago, when I had different insights. I realized that a lot had been changed in the years. Then God spoke very clear: “I don’t want you just to publish Bible studies of several people on your website, I want you to write and understand all studies yourself. It must become a part of you. This is the ministry I gave you, so you need to understand and live everything that you communicate to others.” In the months that followed I started to write and live through new studies, based upon all the new insights the Lord gave me. All these studies are now published on this website and will hopefully bring the people who read it closer and closer to our Father in heaven. Because of all the new insights He gave me in this period, He also showed me that the Mission Statement of Jaweh Ministries International had to change and that the highest priority of this ministry was and is to restore the relationship between God and His children.
Jaweh Ministries International continues to organize conferences and church services wherever the Lord allows us to do so.
