A God of love
All those Christians are always talking about the love of God. What’s that about? Why would God love me? Why is He interested in me? Not everyone directly thinks of love when they think of God. The awareness of His love becomes bigger when people start to approach Him and eventually start to have a relationship with Him. But everything has a start, that includes the understanding of a God of love. First let’s start with the question if God really loves this world? The answer to that question can be found in the Bible, in the very familiar part in John 3:16.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Not only from knowledge, but also from my own experience I can tell you that the word of God, as it is written in the Bible, is true. When God tells us in the Bible that He loves us so much, that He gave His only Son for us, then that is something special. More then that, it is an act of love. Why else would He give His only Son? It’s important to understand that God didn’t sent His Son to condemn mankind, although He had every reason to do that. Jesus continues in John 3:17.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
So there is a God in heaven, He loves you so much that He gave His only Son and He didn’t send His Son to condemn you. His desire is that you might be saved for eternity. Ok, you might think that this is to much to conclude, based on just one part in the Bible. But there’s more! In the whole Bible God makes it very obvious that He loves you. That’s why some people decided to combine all these parts of the Bible and to make a personal love letter from God to you, purely based on what’s written in the Bible! Here it is:

You may not know me, but I know everything about you.

Love, Your Dad
Almighty God
That is the love that a Father has for His child: you. You are so precious to Him, so valuable, so special… You are His creation. It was God Who gave you life into this world. It was God the Father Who created the soul that would be you. And that Creator longs to have a relationship with you, He longs to spent eternity with you.
These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
John 16:25-27
