ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Divide et impera. It’s a very familiar Latin expression and it means “divide and conquer”. It’s a well known historical strategy of the European politics, but it also describes one of the strongest and most successful strategies that satan is using against the Church. I think that nobody needs proof of that. It’s happening everywhere. Not only in Churches, but also in relationships towards each other and even towards God.

I’m someone who thinks a lot about the word of God, but I also try to find solutions in God’s word for problems that we – the Church – are facing these days. But on the area of unity I couldn’t really figure it out. I knew that God wants a united Church, a united body. I knew that unity releases a huge amount of anointing and power. The thing I didn’t knew was how to accomplish that unity. Sure, I heard some theories, but I’m not interested in theories until I’ve seen it proven right. God shined a little of His light on this when I spoke with Craig Docksteader (one of the worship leaders during the conference). In our conversation I asked him about what happened in Toronto, before and during the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. He told me about how most Churches where all doing their own thing, their own program, separated from the others, before the outpouring came. But then, when the outpouring came, the Holy Spirit brought instant unity. Amazing. What a grace. As we know now, it had a huge impact on the city, but also on many Churches around the globe. That what we try to accomplish for years, the Holy Spirit does it in just one day. Amazing…

Why was the result of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit unity? Because the Holy Spirit will always point to Jesus and in Jesus we always find one another. In Jesus we will find the way to the Father, the Source of true unity and love. In Jesus we will find restoration of relationships towards each other and towards God. I believe that the storerooms of heaven are still filled with blessing for us. I also believe that God is longing to give it all to us, but in the first place He longs for our hearts, for nothing less then all of us. The place where our hearts are meeting His heart. The place of true unity with God and with the body of Christ. And that all starts with worship, the place of intimacy.

Worship. Relationship. Glory. Grace. Unity. Love. Those are the ingredients of The Heart of Worship Conference 2012, that will take place near Amsterdam in The Netherlands, from March 1-3, 2012. One evening and two full days of praise, worship, more worship and lots of teachings that will help and encourage you to deepen your relationship with the Father. I invite you to be a part of that great choir of worshipers, as we enter the throne room of our God and His anointing is being released upon and through us. He will do mighty things, that’s one thing I’m absolutely sure of. He still is the mighty Miracle Maker and His heart was and will always be to restore us in every single way. Hope to see you there!
